Noah didn't just believe God; he obeyed God. Your preservation and distinction are not in your beliefs but your obedience. When praying, listen and act. Don't be stupid! Some of you are waiting on God when God is waiting for you.
Noah built an ark, and the ark became his escape and the salvation of his family of eight. Imagine the time it took Noah to get that ark ready and the insults he received from shortsighted individuals. Ponder!
You should be doing something now to save yourself and others. Christianity is not stupidity! What is that thing the Lord told you to do but you have been procrastinating, but attending vigils praying for God's intervention? God's intervention in the life of Noah and his family was the day he told him to build an ark. If Noah failed to obey, the unfortunate would have happened, and then people would say, "but he was a good Christian." Not knowing that even though people judged "Pastor Noah" to be a good pastor, only God knew that he was walking in disobedience.
I believe in the power of prayers. I started my ministry as an intercessor and coordinated one of the legendary intercessory movement under the full gospel mission in Manyu, and 80% of those who walked in that team and those we raised are today firebrand ministers. No story, no glory! However, in my 32 years of walking with the Lord, I have also come across miserable prayer warriors who prayed and prayed but ended as preys. Why? They believed but didn't obey (They failed to act).
