One of the most powerful insights that changed my life and set me on course is the revelation of life not as a "fragment," but a "whole." To be effective as an individual or leader, you have to see and operate with the 'whole picture' and not just a "fragment." The most complicated people one could deal with in this life are those who don't see the "big picture," but a piece of "the whole." Leadership in the 21st-century is more about seeing the "big picture" and building an integrated capacity for holistic influence. "In the beginning was "the word," not "a word." You can't change much with "a word;" you need "the word."

MISSION OR OMISSION!

There are people on earth who can't be fully understood nor stopped. These are men and women on a mission for their generation. They are fascinating individuals you can ever meet or relate with; nothing in the universe empowers like a sense of mission for one's epoch. If you are not on a positive mission for your generation, you might end up becoming an omission in your era. 

You are a mobile book with contents: your birth was just the preface. You were to live each chapter and to complete the entire book before you exit the earth. Don't live your life as a close book; you need spiritual alignment with your creator and relative mental, physical and social development to interpret every chapter of your life.

LIVING IN THE "WORLD" OF THE WORD!

There is a "world" in every word of God! Sadly, most believers are satisfied living in the letter of the word. Insight into the word is a function of living in the "world" of the word. If you live in a place, you would be able to explain what goes on there. Just as most people are satisfied living in remote areas in the world, so it is with the "world" of the word. Someone may tell you they live in America, but where do they live in America? America has 50 states, imagine someone living somewhere in Alaska. How much of America can such an individual know? Where you live in the "world" of the word of God would determine your revelation and insight.

DIRECTION VS POTENTIAL!

Potential is good, but it is not enough. There is nothing as dangerous as misguided potential. Potential is only useful when coupled with direction. The problem of most individuals is not the absence of potential in their lives, but direction. When you don't know where you are going to, anywhere will become a destination. Sometimes, it is vital to wait in service under someone who knows where he is going than to launch out without adequate direction. 

Go Deeper! Get Deeper!


Nothing of enormous value is on the surface. You have to dig deeper to access precious minerals embedded in the earth. It is the same with our walk with God and the pursuit of our purpose. You have to go beyond the surface to get the gold in your area of calling and purpose. The absence of depth in any area naturally breeds "fanaticism," which I define as excitement and misguided zeal, inspired by ignorance and a lack of depth. It is time to be dissatisfied with any form of shallowness in your area of calling and profession. It is time to dig for the gold and diamond in your area of calling, purpose, passion and profession. Go deeper! Get deeper!
