I hope and pray that this brief note by God's grace will introduce you to "The Art of the Deal" from a spiritual perspective. I know some theologians may be curious to find out what I'm up to this time. Can the theologians relax, we are going somewhere. It is important to understand that one can attract certain blessings "by mistake," I mean even when certain spiritual conditions aren't fully met, but there are other breakthroughs you can't have that way. In fact, heaven only releases such blessings on the basis of a deal. Someone must arise who understands the deal required to move the Godhead into action for certain breakthroughs to happen in the earth realm. I hope I haven't gotten into trouble with theologians! Relax, God is taking us somewhere called "Forward" in our understanding of his ways of operation.
Listen! If you have to spend hours binding and loosing as a child of God just to have a good night rest, there is something you don't yet know. If you have to "beg" for prayers everywhere prayers are offered, there is something you don't yet know. If you have to travel from your country like Naaman, to seek healing, deliverance or whatever from anyone as a child of God, there is something you don't yet know. The scripture says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." It didn't say God's people are destroyed because of Satan and all the principalities and powers in heavenly places.
A Pastor who has been in ministry for more than 30 years once came to my office to inform me about his plans to travel to Nigeria for prayers for "ministerial breakthrough," I told him if he has no use for the transport money, he should give it to me. He went and came back and is still where he was in everything and even worse. Listen, travel for knowledge, don't travel to receive prayers. Job 36:3.
Traveling to seek prayers is an Old Testament pattern, not New Testament. You can pray by yourself and have "whatever," if you understand "The Art of the Deal" via prayers. The money most people spend searching for what is not lost can earn them a fortune. Christianity, especially in Sub-Sahara Africa, is turning into something else. We need light to dispel this darkness.
God didn't appoint Apostles, Prophets, Teachers, Evangelists and Pastors to serve as prayers distributors, but as custodians of the revelation of the kingdom and the will of God by which humanity can find rest in this troubled world. Eph 4:11-14.
Every man, woman, boy or girl can have whatever breakthrough they need without the mediation of any pastor, prophet or priest if they only understand "The Art of the Deal" from God's perspective. In the New Testament, Christ is the only mediator between God and man, not any Prophet, Pastor Or Priest. The Purpose of the five-fold ministry is to point people to the way, the truth, and the life, the tripartite dimensions of the revelation of Christ by the Word of God. I feel like preaching!
The kingdom of God can't advance on earth if as God's people we choose to remain as babes in our understanding. Hebrews 5:12. It is time to grow up!
My mother had a disease for 30 years before she came to know Christ. Just like the woman with the issue of blood, she suffered many things in the hands of Physicians and African NATIVE doctors. She once told us how she slept in a graveyard in search for a solution to her predicament. But when she got the knowledge of the truth, she didn't need any man but God, and she got her healing alone with God.
The Gifts of healing and others were given to empower the church to reach the world, not the church. I know I just smashed the brazen serpent just like Nehemiah did to move the nation of Israel beyond their past into the future. 2 Kings 18:4. Let the revolution begin!
What is a deal? A deal is an agreement entered into by two or more parties for their mutual benefit. God is a deal maker, in fact, the New Testament is God's New Deal with humanity. The understanding of God's New Deal and the Art of deal making with God are powerful keys to ultimate triumph in the earth realm.
