The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is the little extra effort applied by "extraordinary" to travel beyond where the ordinary chooses to settle. You can't discover new lands without the courage to leave the safe shores. When you are too careful, you will become careless.
Elihu said, "I Will Fetch My Knowledge From Afar." He was ready to go farther in his quest for knowledge. He was willing to pay the price to be extraordinary. Extraordinary is not the birthright of some selected folks, but a place for everyone willing to pay the price to learn. Learners are potential leaders!
There is a place you can't get to unless you stop talking and start walking. Those wishing for the day they would find themselves doing the extraordinary may wait forever." When wishes stay as wishes, they degenerate into frustrations. It is wisdom to convert wishes into reality!
There is crowding at the bottom of the ladder; the ordinary is ordinary, with millions of people at that level. It is time to distinguish yourself by doing what Elihu did; " He was willing to "fetch his knowledge from afar." You have to leave the crowd to lead the crowd!
Moses travelled up the mount and spent 40 days to receive the revelation of the ten commandments. Elijah travelled 40 days to get to the place the Lord assigned him. Jesus took his inner circle disciples several times up the mountain for something higher.
You can spend years in church and the ministry and live and die as an ordinary individual with nothing unique to offer your generation if you lack the passion for the extraordinary.
It would be best if you refuse to spend another year in the same stupor, make mentorship your priority. Mentor-ship under the right leaders is a ship capable of taking anyone to where they couldn't get to by themselves. PONDER!
