Believers are the most interesting people on earth to interact with; when you do, you would find many of their conceptions of the will of God to be very funny. One thing about God is that, He allows us to believe whatever we want about him, but if we choose to renew our minds and change our perspective by the revelation of truth, He would reveal to us the operations of his Kingdom.
There is no greater breakthrough in the kingdom of God as operating with the revelation of truth. Jesus said, ‘ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.’ When we receive the revelation of truth, we will then be able to see, know, understand and have the right perspective on every issue just like Christ when He walked this earth. No child or son of God should be satisfied with just being saved; we have to press on to know the Lord and to have His mind and Spirit. This is the forgotten path of the Christian faith; many, who are seeking Him today, are doing so for bread and fish, but not to know Him. The Church is full of idolaters who are simply worshiping the acts of God instead of worshiping God.
He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel. (Ps 103:7)
It is always a tremendous blessing to witness the acts of God; in fact, children in the kingdom build tabernacles around the acts of God, but sons go a step ahead to know the ways of God, which gives insight into the operations of God. How I wish the Church slows down her excessive religious activities consistently organized to entertain tired and retired believers who simply warm church pew week after week without any vision, passion and focus to know the Lord and His ways. How I wish every believer in Christ devotes his or her life to know the Lord and to understand His mode of operation. If we do the above, then the kingdom of God would come in our time with great power and glory.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. ROM 12:1+2
In the above scripture, Paul admonished us to renew our minds, to prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God’. God does not want us to be ignorant about His will. In this series, we shall be renewing our minds regarding the will of God, while weeding off strongly held misconceptions about the will of God. This is introductory; stay connected for more on this subject.
