Ezekiel 37:1-3.
The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which [was] full of bones, And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, [there were] very many in the open valley; and, lo, [they were] very dry. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.
Son of Man; Men and women of God, Can these bones live? The challenge of God to a faithless generation. The Lord carried the prophet, Ezekiel, to a valley full of dry bones, and asked him, Son of man, can these bones live?
God is asking us the same question. Can this hell-bound generation be transformed? May the spirit of God cause us to see beyond our inability to God's ability! The world today is a valley full of dry bones ravaged by innumerable woes, despair, frustration, misery, and death; the question reverberates; CAN THESE BONES LIVE?
Can we believe for a move of God that transforms towns, cities and nations? Can our cities and countries be free from the power of sin, corruption, drugs and all the heinous crimes ravaging them?
Can we believe God to use us in this era to stop prostitution, transform Governments, and lead a positive revolution in all areas of strategic importance and to usher in the kingdom of God on earth?
CAN THESE BONES LIVE?
When God asks a question, it is not because He is ignorant and somehow depends on us for answers. When God asks a question, He is finding out if we know as we ought to know. CAN THESE BONES LIVE? And the response from Prophet Ezekiel was "O Lord GOD, thou knowest."
The prophet was saying, this is beyond my faith and knowledge. Listen, it is not always a matter of what we know. The question is; what happens if God leads us into areas our faith and knowledge can't carry us? The answer is right there in the word.
Ezekiel 37:4 to 5.
Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live.
God was saying; Ezekiel, do what I ask you to do, even if it does not make sense to you. Act on my instruction and not on your faith or knowledge, since you have none at the moment.
So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
The prophet acted on God's instruction; He didn't have faith nor knowledge of what was possible, but he prophesied as was commanded. Oh, I sense the Holy Ghost!
Listen! God is taking us beyond our faith and knowledge in this era. He can't depend on know-how, or else His program would be in Jeopardy.
Sadly, we are living in a time of gross unbelief; only a remnant today can believe God for a global kingdom revolution where heaven invades the earth, and the kingdoms of the world become the kingdom of our God and his Christ. That is why we mostly stay within our Church buildings chanting victory songs while the devil is taking over streets, education, Media, entertainment, Governments, the economy, science and others.
What worked in the experience of Ezekiel in the valley of dry bones when faith and knowledge fail was OBEDIENCE! Obedience can take us where our faith can't.
So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
The breakthrough came, and the valley of dry bones became an exceeding great army, not because of the faith of the prophet, but his obedience. For centuries, we have solely spoken on faith and knowledge as indispensable for kingdom exploits, but as vital as they are, they can become hindrances to what the Lord wants to do through us. Even when we lack faith and knowledge to believe God for certain things, we can see the incredible intervention of God if we choose to walk in obedience.
The Lord is saying to us; if we can obey Him even when his instructions don't make sense, we will see his salvation. Can these bones live? The answer is yes, with God, all things are possible! It isn't about us, but God! Alleluia!
May this message inspire us to believe God even when our faith and knowledge fail us. That's what the Lord is saying to us in this season. Catch the revelation and run with it!
