Revelation 2:12-17 (NLT)
Write this letter to the angel of the church in Pergamum. This is the message from the one with the sharp two-edged sword: "I know you live in the city where Satan has his throne, yet you have remained loyal to me. You refused to deny me even when Antipas, my faithful witness, was martyred among you there in Satan's city.

"But I have a few complaints against you. You tolerate some among you whose teaching is like that of Balaam, who showed Balak how to trip up the people of Israel. He taught them to sin by eating food offered to idols and committing sexual sins. In a similar way, you have some Nicolaitans among you who follow the same teaching.
πππ
Repent of your sin, or I will come to you suddenly and fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

"Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give some of the manna that has been hidden away in heaven. And I will give to each one a white stone, and on the stone will be engraved a new name that no one understands except the one who receives it. Revelation 2:12-17 (NLT)

Christ commended the Church in Pergamum for their Loyalty to Him but rebuked their lack of forthrightness against the False teachings promoted by some in the church. Isn't that one of the spiritual plagues of our times? Today, being closed-lip against false teachings and their propagators is, to some, the act of minding their business.
It is understandable. Today's culture has forced many Christian leaders to teach the word as if they must apologise for what the scripture says. In trying to be relevant, we are gradually embracing unbiblical shifting paradigms. We don't want to be cancelled by the Left or lose the financial support of those within our churches who hold the teachings of Balaam and Nicolaitans. We don't want to rock the boat! We want to be seen as nice, but that has placed Christ and us on a collision course.
When the true gospel of Christ and the message of the kingdom is properly preached and taught, some people will be Glad; others will be Sad or Mad. It isn't our role to make it acceptable, but the Spirit that convicts. John 16:8
There are doctrines, belief systems and others which aren't compatible with our faith, and it is time we become forthright when declaring the whole counsel of God! The gospel of inclusivity and universality that remove ancient landmarks is anti-Christian, and we must speak against it.
God loves all, but we must come to Him through Christ to be saved. That involves embracing the life and teachings of Christ and being established on the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, and Christ the chief cornerstone. Ephesians 2:20. Help, Lord! Revelation 2:12-17 (NLT)
