(What Many Are Not Told In Church)
"The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and ""sold all he had"" and bought that field. (Matt 13:44)
"For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth." The truth has no substitute; it's either the truth or nothing else. If 2 + 2 = 4, prayers and fasting can't change the formula to give us five instead of four.
Like Apostle Paul, who was so passionate for the salvation of Israel; my heart's desire and prayer to God as well is for God's children everywhere to find the truth. God's people in several quarters of Christendom today, like the Jews in the days of Paul, have zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. This is the reason behind the setback of the church in several parts of the world.
The most popular message today is that which takes virtually every responsibility from the believer and puts it on God's grace. It's like; God was under a "curse," or he didn't have enough favor to have worked for seven days just to create the heaven and the earth. This misconception of the message of grace has made God's children everywhere, very complacent in the things of the kingdom, but alive in the things of the world. Many wonder why the world is making great strikes in several domains, while the church is actually being depleted in some societies. The reason is simple, "The children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light."
The world goes for the principles that make things work, while some in church believe things are supposed to work simply because of God's favor. Believers confess biblical promises, but ignore the fact that, God's promises are conditional. There is no effect anywhere without a cause; it's not a secular rule, but a universal rule.
My topic is "the price!" In some quarters of Christendom; the belief is that, Christ has paid the price, and we are not supposed to pay any price, but to walk by faith. I wonder if they understand the true meaning of faith. Christ paid the price for our salvation, but we are supposed to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. Faith without works is dead! God planted the Garden of Eden, but didn't leave man without responsibility; Adam was supposed to dress and to keep it.
Christ paid the price for our salvation, but our access into kingdom authority and revelation will come with a price. In our foundation text; a man found treasure in a field and went and sold all he had to buy the field. "Sold all he had!'' Christians everywhere admire those walking in kingdom revelation and authority. They seek for opportunity to have these individuals to lay hands on them, but they are not ready for the price of the same breakthrough.
I celebrate pastors for the grace to “babysit” the millions in the church, who have stayed in church for several years and have refused to grow out of danger. I'm sorry; I don't have such grace. He told me; son, "raise me an army; "he didn't say, “go and babysit them.”
It's time we tell those within the influence of our leadership the truth. There is a price to pay to receive the best in God's kingdom and to be the best in every field of life. Let's stop deceiving ourselves; there is no free breakthrough. Let me tell you what will shock you! There is no free grace! I can prove it! In fact, nothing is free; what changes is simply the currency. I know I have just stirred hell, but that's my calling. You don't raise an army by feeding them with soft food, but with rugged food.
Do you want to walk in kingdom authority and revelation? Listen! It will cost you everything and still asked for extract. Keep your stones for another day! Cheers! DrBenard Etta
