I'm not talking about the kind of warfare we are used to, of binding principalities and powers, but a different kind of war. I call it the ideological war. It is a battle we must put in all to understand the nature of warfare, so as to fight a good fight individually and collectively, with light, against the enemy of our souls working so hard to derail God's people.
It takes hyper-Divine illumination from the world of the Word to win this ideological war. That's why; it is crucial to have a firm grip on God and to grow progressively in the knowledge of the truth. You become a victim of what you don't know. You only became a victim of this war if you are merely religious, but lacking in divine illumination, which unfortunately is the state of millions of Christians.
Most people talk about God but won't commit themselves to know him. They want a version of the gospel that promises everything but places no responsibility on them. As a result, so many nice church folks find themselves helpless in the face of this raging battle.
The aim of this ideological warfare is not to do away with church-going, but to have as many churches as possible, but offering a pseudo version of the kingdom. Satan is not out to close down churches but to make them inconsequential.
We are at war brethren, and most media houses and pulpits are now new demonically inspired platforms for this ideological battle. It is time to watch what you listen to and follow.
It's about time we take the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 13:5 seriously. "Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith." One can be active in church, and yet, not be in the faith.
Those looking for an easy path, I have a word for you. The easy path leads to somewhere called nowhere. It's time for robust investment in your spiritual development and relationship with Christ. Matthew 7:13-14
Seek the Word, it is the only protection against the massive propaganda and brainwashing going on from Satan's sponsored medias and pulpits. DrBenard Etta
