That's All You Need!
Why rely on an armor that didn't help King Saul to face Goliath? What is really wrong with this generation? Why rely on methods, which are not working? David put on Saul's Armor out of respect but realized later that facing Goliath didn't require the sophistication of Saul's armor, but simple faith in what God gave him. He returned Saul's armor and took up what God gave him and that brought Goliath down. Forget the sophistication, stopped being pushed around. Spend time with God and intimate yourself with what he has given you, then step out in simple faith and see God work wonders. Let David's Example Inspire You!
There are several Goliaths today in our cities and nations making a mockery of God's people, what we need now is not political correctness, nice armors, titles and people with all the theological degrees the world offers. We need David's generation of individuals, trained by God in the closet, but equipped with wisdom and strategy to stop the mockeries of the Goliaths of this era. David was not in the regular army of Israel, but he was God's man for the hour. His brothers laughed at his passion and willingness to confront Goliath. They did so because they judged him based on his age and not his experience with God in battles. They were not there when through the strength of God he slew the Bear and Leopard that tried to devour his sheep. When he saw Goliath making a mockery of the entire army of Israel, something inside of him could not accommodate the insult and he rose to the occasion and killed Goliath, stopping the mockery against Israel.
I sense the anointing right now! I see a generation of Davids rising in the nations of the world. Don't look for them among the regular army of religious people, don't expect to see them wearing Saul's armor, but the oil on their life will empower them to do the unexpected. Watch out! They are here! The David's generation! I have a word to the Goliaths of the 21st Century, your days are numbered! Glory to the Most High God! Let the revolution begin!
