Matthew 6, verse 11.
Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread.
Christ taught his disciples to ask for daily bread, not yesterday's bread. Every era has its provision and dimensions. We are supposed to walk closely with the Lord to unravel the next Big Things in his mind. The Law of every day's Provision is related to the Law of Progress. The advancement of the kingdom of God is only practical if we operate according to the Law of every day's provision in relations to the Law of Progress.
The Law of progress states, "Every quality and positive result in life has progressive dimensions with each phase relative to time." It is vital to know that according to the Law of progress; nothing is supposed to be stagnant. Whatever progress we have made so far is not the end of the road, there are dimensions we haven't unravelled or seen.
1 Corinthians 2, verse 9.
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."
Every era has its expected dimensions of change and paradigm shifts necessary for the people of God to be effective and impactful. When we fail to progress into these new dimensions in relations to time, the effect of our past successes will become negative, even though they were positive results. It is a serious matter!
The Law of progress places a demand on us all to adopt a visionary approach to life. That is, we are to monitor our results constantly to know when they demand a shift with relations to time.
Individuals, organisations, churches and societies that ignore the Law of progress have always attracted fatal consequences. The only way to sustain our relevance and effectiveness is to function in cognisance of the Law of progress.
There have been great civilisations before now, where are their remains? What happened to some of the revival movements of the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries? The only reason why most civilisations and revival movements collapsed with time is that they didn't take into consideration the Law of progress. They became satisfied and relaxed with their achievements, and as a result, and didn't bother about the next dimensions God had for them. As a result, they became victims of the demands of the Law of progress as time progressed.
Today, we have all sorts of methods and ideas carried from the 20th century into the 21st-century. These methods and ideas are already creating a lot of problems because they are no more relevant. We need to ask, seek and knock the "door of the throne of grace" for insight into the new dimensions destined for this era. For this to be possible, we must become dissatisfied with the status-quos surrounding us. Real breakthroughs are always outside of the "perpendicular."
When we become restless in our minds and spirit for timely breakthroughs, God will give us inspiration for the next phase of things. Inspiration leads to revelation, and revelation brings fresh insight, knowledge and understanding of time and life's demands.
It is time to abandoned our passive and complacent approach to life. We must become tired of going in circles. We must arise and catch up with the next phase of things in God's mind to avoid stepping into gross darkness. May the Lord grant us understanding in Jesus name!
