INSPIRED MESSAGES

Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. John 5:19. 

The above biblical text unveils one of the powerful secrets behind the uniqueness of the life and earthly ministry of Jesus Christ, and also underscores what is wrong with most of the things we do today in God's name. It is important to note that, the fact that God could still perform signs and wonders through an individual does not mean all is well. 

We can use the anointing of God on our lives to attract a following and to build many things in God's name, but with the aim of raising our ego and achieving our ambitions. 

What was the secret of Jesus? 

1) He did nothing of himself. 

2) He only did what he saw his father doing. 

3) Christ earthly ministry was simply a reflection in the natural of what God was doing in the supernatural. 

If we apply the above principles in 2015, we would change this generation for the best. Every step Christ took and every word he uttered was a product of what he saw, hear and downloaded from God. That is how ministry was supposed to be, not a display of human emotionalism, coupled with gimmicks and baseless rhetoric all aimed at self-promotion and cleverness to extort and enrich oneself. 

When we proposed in our hearts not to make any move nor say anything without seeing and hearing from heaven, we will become a storm of positive change, which the darkness in the world can't resist. I am still looking forward to that day when communities, cities and whole societies and nations would be held, spellbound and brought to their knees as they hear God speaking, touching and operating through mortal humans. That day is here! 

It is time we bow our heads in shame for the fact that, despite our numbers, big names, and the huge amounts we spend on "gospel propaganda" and not propagation, we haven't succeeded in taking any single village, town or city for the kingdom of God. It is time we cross-examine where we got the pattern of what we are busy doing and who really commissioned us, whether men or God. 

Those that God truly sent in every generation transformed their generations with what they received from God. The proofs of their ministry were the lives they saved and raised, and the communities, cities and nations they transformed, and not their fancy material achievements and expensive lifestyles, which seems to be paramount today. 

It is time for solemn assemblies everywhere for deep reflections as we look forward to the New year. It is time for us to repent in order for the world to repent. Ponder and look for a place of prayer! Let heaven hear your sobbing and supplications. 2015 here we come, humbled by the hand of The Almighty God and prepared for a heaven-sent revelation for a revolution.
