Genesis 1:1-2
In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Genesis 2:1-2
Thus, the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
One fundamental thing that creation reveals is that God is creative. That seems elementary, but sadly, very few Christians understand this. One of the great tragedies of church history has been how the fearful and uncreative have so often dominated church leadership, thereby stifling the creativity of the people of God.
To this day, there are powerful forces within the church that reward mediocrity and penalize anyone who deviates from their own overly narrow perceptions of God and His truth.
We will never rise above the powerlessness and deadness of what Christianity, in general, has become unless we arise with the courage to throw off the yoke of this perverted conformity, which the Lord never put on His people.
Neither will we rise above this powerlessness and deadness if we do not come into the unity, He has called us. To be a nonconformist merely for the sake of standing against pressures of conformity will eventually lead to the deadly trap of lawlessness.
There is a ditch on either side of the path of life, as the Lord declared.
Mathew 7:14
"For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it."
True creativity is not reactionary; it is not against something- it is for life. Jesus was not a revolutionary because He did what He did in reaction to the Pharisees, but because of who He was, is and is to come. The Pharisees reacted to Jesus how the legalistically religious will always respond to Christ's true creative life when revealed in someone. However, lawlessness is just as deadly as legalistic religion. Remember, there is a ditch on either side of the path of life. Because God, "the creator", made man in His image, the true nature of man is also creative.
We will never come into the fullness of who we were created to be until and unless we become creative. The man, both the male and female gender, were also made for creativity through their walk with God, the source of true creativity. Creativity that leads to life can only come out of walking with God.
Although some of the forces that inhibit creativity are now in the church, most acts of creativity in history can be traced to the church as its birthplace.
Micheal Faraday, Isaac Newton and other outstanding scientific minds and political leaders in history were not atheists but individuals with solid Christian conviction. Sadly, the writers of history in most parts have worked so hard to hide the influence the faith of these men had on their creativity.
Today, many things whose birthplace is the church are also being driven out of the church by the legalistic religious and then captured by the enemy and used for sinister purposes. That must cease.
It is not yet over with the church on the matter of creativity. The church will once more become a leader in creativity before the return of the Lord. God is raising a new breed of leaders who can shepherd the most extraordinary powers of creativity, which are about to be released through the church. The Lord has saved His best wine for last.

Isaiah 2:2-3
And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Haggai 2:6-9
For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
Isaiah 60: 1-3
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
The above Biblical prophecies and the others not shared in this book are pointing to a glorious future for God's people. I believe we are at the dawn of a new age in Christendom; let seek the Lord. A shift is coming, and an explosion in the church's creativity. That will be one of the hallmarks of this church of the future. This ultimate release of creativity will also usher a new era of the revelation of the creator like humanity has never known.

It takes creativity to shift from the familiar to the Unfamiliar. Creativity is the act of bringing forth new things. Only creative people can achieve or birth the Unfamiliar. May the creativity in you be activated in Jesus’ name.
