(The key to identifying causes and effects)

I know some of you are wondering why despite the different efforts in several quarters and by various individuals, groups, organizations, churches, and governments to make the world better and not bitter, instead things are getting worse. As I was pondering about the state of the world this morning, one fact came to mind, "humanity is operating in different spheres by their own manmade principles and systems of doing things and not the one God ordained. That is the cause behind the unfortunate state of affairs in the church as well as in the world.

Some mechanics are able to change the original system of a car or an appliance, and it will still function, but not with the quality and potency of the original system put in place by the manufacturer.

Everything in existence has a "system" of operation as defined and designed by the Almighty. Understanding the actual governing principles and operational systems of things is part of what Christ meant when he said, "you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." The truth as we know refers to the person of Christ, but it's also inclusive of the understanding of life's governing principles and operational systems. When we are ignorant of life's governing principles and operational systems, we won't be able to recognize the cause of our problems and how to fix the things deteriorating in our personal lives, societies, and nations.

I believe in prayers, and I live a life of prayers, but the notion that prayer is the answer to all human plight is ignorance on fire. You can't pray and change society or nation where there is a deliberate violation of God's original principles and system of operation. To such a society or nation, it is not a matter of if it will collapse, but when it will collapse. Most of our nations and societies will sooner or later hit the rocks, we can pray as much as we can, but if the people refuse to walk in the principles of God and his established system of doing things, even God won't be able to help them.

Some twenty years back, I was praying for a pastor I loved so much for a breakthrough in his ministry. And, one night, I had a vision where Christ was standing with the pastor on the pulpit, giving him advice on how to move to another level in ministry, but the pastor refused to follow the master's instruction. In fact, I heard him saying to the Lord, "this is not how we do it in our church." Did you hear that? A pastor telling the Lord, "this is not how we do it in our church." So, who is the head of that Church, Christ or the pastor? I will leave that to you people to debate about.

After that revelation, the Lord told me to pray for other things, not for that Pastor because he has made up his mind to follow his own ways and not God's ways. Listen! Before you fast and pray for someone or a nation, try to find out the cause of their "wahala." If it is a matter of principles violated, you better advice the person or people involved to return to the right principles and operational system. Any other solution out of this is cosmetic and won't last. I have a lot to say on this subject, but let's call it a day and hope for another opportunity to share more light on this crucial subject. WHY THE CHURCH IS NOT CHANGING SOCIETY!

Foundation Scripture: Matthew 5, verse 13 to 16.
"Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt has lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

The church can have tremendous influence in shaping the moral, social, cultural and spiritual character of every community, society, and nation. She is supposed to be the light and salt of every community, city, society and nation. However, in a situation where the church imbibes the "culture," it was supposed to change her light will become darkness. The transformation of a negative culture by the church requires a church leadership and movement with a visionary character; spiritually, mentally, socially and intellectually developed.

When we evaluate the impact of the church in a society by the size of church auditoriums, congregations and the opulence of church leaders, we miss the major and start majoring on minor. The transformation of the character of a society where the church operates is the measuring rod of the impact of the church.

For instance, looking at our African nations and the number and size of churches within every nation, one should expect to see countries with a strong moral, social, cultural and spiritual character, but that isn't the case. Why? How I wish this question becomes a topic in every interdenominational gathering.

The goal of this message is to help us understand why the number of churches in our nations has not translated into any meaningful transformation in our nations. If the churches are a part of the problem instead of the solution, they can't serve as God's transformational agents.

Christ said; you can't take out the mote from someone's eyes if you have a beam in your eyes. Matthew 7 : 3 -5.

Those words contain the principle required for the church to change the character of any society or nation she operates within. The church can't have the moral authority to bring the needed changes in the moral, social, cultural and spiritual character of a nation if the church is a victim of the same. Darkness can't cast out darkness.

So, the power of the church is in being the church, not in any other thing. Big buildings, bank accounts, assets and others may have their place, but they do not determine the impact of the church.

What does being the church means? The word "Church," in Latin ecclesia, and Greek "ek-ka-lein," means to "call out of. "The church is supposed to be "a call out" people in every nation; not a part of the corruption, political and social madness, the culture of greed, and egotism going on in a country. When the church in a society descends to the level of the people who don't know the Lord, she will exist as "noise" and not a voice.

"We are in the world and not of the world" as the Bible says, is the best biblical description of the church, which can cure the moral, social, spiritual and cultural malaise of a nation. In a situation where the values of the church, sense of direction, and character is same as that of the country she operates within, it becomes practically impossible for the church to become an agent of transformation within the nation.

For instance, when ordinary politicians loot a nation's wealth and use part of the money to support church projects and the churches see no problem with that, how on earth can the church serve as a voice against corruption?

When church leaders amass so much wealth when their people are languishing in poverty, how on earth can the church speak out against the culture of impunity and self-aggrandizement among the nation's elites?

When money becomes the determining factor of the place one occupies in a church, how on earth can the church change the cultural value where money is crowned king," which is why some young men and women get into arm robbery, prostitution, and other vices to meet up?

When the messages from the pulpit glorify the mindsets and attitudes, which the church was supposed to be speaking against, how on earth do you think the church can serve as the light in a dark world?

In a society of selfishness, racism, and individualism, if these same attitudes are evident in the character of the church, she would become a toothless bulldog. A toothless bulldog will bark, look tough and intimidating, but can't bite. Is this the picture of the church in your nation? The church needs change, and you and I can become that change. Let's seek the Lord for the transformation of the church into the light and salt of the earth. That is the breakthrough required for the church to transform society. We pray that this message serves the purpose the Holy Spirit ordained it in Jesus name!

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he comes and rains righteousness upon you.

Hosea 10 : 12.

How I Wish You Listen & Ponder!

2011121?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024

Matthew 24, verse 38 to 39.
For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the [very] day when Noah entered the Ark, and they did not know or understand until the flood came and swept them all away.

The above biblical text is familiar to all students of the word, but it contains rare insights we desperately need for our preservation. Please, take a second look at the text, what do you see and hear?

Mark the words, "For as in those days before the flood." Let me say this to those who care to listen. What you do before trouble comes matters a lot. You can never win a battle you didn't prepare for or saw coming. Whatever surprises you may defeat you.

I know you are wondering where I am driving to. Listen! Preservation is only for the prepared! You play today; you pay tomorrow.

What were the people doing before the flood? The answer is right there in the same scripture. "They were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage." The question is, what is wrong with that? Biblically speaking, there is nothing wrong with the above actions, there are a part of our everyday's life. So, if there was nothing outrightly wrong with eating, drinking, getting married or giving in marriage, why did the scripture inform us about the preoccupation of the people by these activities before the flood? If you don't ask a question, you can't find answers.

Before we get into the possible answer to our question, it is good to compare the people of that time with Noah, the only man whose actions saved him and his family. What was different about him from the people? Do you think Noah fasted and didn't eat or drink all through the time he was building the Ark? I believe he did, but why was he saved and the others perish?

Let's imagine a situation where students are partying a day to their official exam, and while the party was still going on, one of the students slip away to do some reading. What outcome do you envisage for those who continued partying till late in the night and later retired to their beds and the student who returned home early to study? I'm sure you know the answer!

The scripture says, "For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage."

What was the problem with these people?

1) They thought life was all about eating, drinking, marrying and giving in marriage. "Enjoyment extravaganza!"

2) They were "lost" in their 'partying', and they didn't see the handwriting on the wall.

3) They ignored the warning of the only man who "saw tomorrow," but gave their ears to those "prophet-lying" to them, telling them it's all fine and shall remain so."

4) In their deceived minds, they thought Noah was mad, and the rain he was talking about will never come, and even when the rain started, they saw it as another rainy season that would soon go away. So, they continued in their partying until the flood swept them away.

Christ said as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in our day. The handwritings are boldly written on the walls of our nations and societies; sadly, many people do not see the handwriting because of their addiction to pleasure and the pursuit of their egoistic ambitions.

For those of you living in the United States, God just spared you by the election of Donald J. Trump, but I can't guarantee you much if you fail to see the hand of God in his election and instead choose to fight against his presidency.

For those of you in Nigeria, you should be repenting on behalf of the church in Nigeria and Nigeria as a nation, to avert a very dark scenario.

To those in Cameroon, the Titanic may soon hit an iceberg; "you need life jackets," but pray and keep praying "peradventure."

The years ahead of the human race will be challenging, let no one fool you with baseless prophecies. Prepare for tomorrow, today. Get your Ark together.

If your relationship with God is nonexistence or casual, it is time to turn to God with your whole heart. Christ the Redeemer is knocking; it is time to let him in. Wherever you are, you can reach out to him from your heart in sincere repentance, and he will save you and show you what you must to do.

Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do." Acts 9:6

What Are You Bowing to?

In Matthew 4:8-9, the scripture says, "Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me."

We just read the above text, what do you see? The title of my message is "What Are You Bowing to?" What catches your attention most may distract or misdirect your life. And, what you bow to can either make or unmake you.

We just read how the devil presented to Jesus the offer of the kingdoms of the world and their glory, and yet, Jesus was not moved by what he saw to bow his head or knees in respect or worship. That reveals the kind of Spirit Christ had and his focus. Not everyone can see such wealth and material glory, and not immediately submit especially in this our materialistic age. You know what I am talking about; most people today look for individuals or churches with wealth and earthly glory to submit to, irrespective of their moral and spiritual stand. Today, so many Christians define grace in material achievements and so, whatever glitters is taken for gold or God. What a deception!

The same individuals calling you their mentor, when they don't see "gold" in the process, forget it, you won't see them. They keep moving from pillar to post looking for what is not lost because their orientation is wrong. May God have mercy on this generation. Just too many Esau's', Balaam's, Judas Iscariot's and Gehazi's everywhere.

In fact, in some places, there is a need for a retraining program for so many operating with the titles of Pastor, Bishop, General overseer, Apostle, and Prophet because of the wrong orientation they have and some inherited from those they submitted to as their spiritual fathers. If a spiritual father is a hustler, what do you expect from his followers?

The retraining program I am talking about must be a real reorientation and mental/ spiritual "detoxification" process to get the junk out. It is one of the ways to clean up the mess in the church today, but how many can humble themselves to go through such reorientation program? That is the multimillion-dollar question. The misconceptions about the gospel and what the kingdom of God is about is so great that something really needs to happen to get this generation of believers on track.

Let's get back to our message! The devil came with the above temptation to Jesus when he was just about stepping into his ministry. And, at that phase, every individual who has passed through it knows it is a time to expect divine provision for the vision. That was when the devil planned his attack, but instead of yielding, Jesus rose above the test and rebuked the devil. Matt 4: 10.

May God help us-ooooh, men, women and children of God. Not every money is God's provision, some are traps. Not every individual who comes to partner with you is pure in heart, some are agents of darkness looking for ways to destroy your ministry. Not every financial or material offer for the work of God should be accepted and invested into the ministry. Not every favor is God's blessings, not every open door is God's promise. Some so-called breakthroughs may be breakdowns. May the Lord give us discernment; these are days of gross darkness, and the devil now has a Ph.D. attached to his name for effective operations. What are we bowing to? Watch out for part 2! Cheers! DrBenard Etta

And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them. Luke 17:23

You have to leave the crowd to lead the crowd. When you go after what everyone seems to be chasing, you will become like "everyone" and your identity will be lost in the crowd. Great leaders stand out! Great Souls are not scared to walk the path of truth alone even when it isn't popular. You know when God is no more in a thing by the popularity of the thing with a majority of people.

Christ said,"And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them." Can the emerging leaders say Amen!

Listen! You don't need Saul's armor. The fact that everyone seems to be following a particular trend doesn't make it right or needful. Several times you will be told, "that is where it is happening." "That is what everybody is doing to grow their ministries and churches."The Lord sent me to someone reading this post to tell you, "Go not after them, nor follow them."

That's the little secret the Lord taught me as the key to having an enduring ministry, which doesn't just build earthly tabernacles but can leave a profound impact on present and future generations.

I asked a question to ministers at a meeting in Dallas Texas some years back. The question was, "how many people are placing demands on your tapes and books outside your local church and how many people will ask for your tapes and books 100 years after you have gone?

After the program, a young minister confessed to me that the question challenged him to have a rethink about ministry.

If you want to retire and expire sooner than expected, all you have to do is to follow what everybody is doing and running to where everyone is running to.

Show me a great leader whose lives and impact will outlast his/her time, and I will show you someone who is different. I will show you someone who doesn't follow the crowd but has a clear sense of direction.

In some quarters of the Pentecostal movement, the church has turned into a massive multi-million dollar enterprise where new methods for cheap publicity, popularity, exponential growth, shortcuts to fame, wealth, and others are being manufactured and marketed locally, nationally and globally.

It seems gospel ministers are now ranked by titles, the size of church auditorium, number of awards, political connections, stocks, where the first lady goes for holidays, the number of cars, aircraft, and others. So, to belong to the who-who is about striving to acquire the above for recognition and membership in the "Sanhedrin." As a result, so many young emerging leaders are under pressure with their congregations just to meet up and to join the club.

If no one told you, let me make it very clear, God is not a part of such manmade standards neither is he a part of anything done for vain glory, carnal competition, ego, and cheap popularity, etc.

If you need my advice, I'll refer you to the words of Christ. "And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them." Luke 17:23. "Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear." Remain connected! DrBenard Etta

The name "Church" has been hijacked and is being used as a label to hide individuals dubious ambitions and shady deals. I have little respect for most of the newly created Pentecostal and charismatic churches spring up everywhere today.

Most of these churches are led by delinquent youths who have never submitted to anyone in the faith, even to their parents, talkless of having any real testimony of our thorough walk with the Lord; yet, they parade themselves as Apostles and Prophets. Some of them promote themselves as spiritual fathers. What a joke!

I weep for those leaders in the body of Christ that endorse these ones because of tithes and financial seeds they sow. The gospel landscape is tainted by this brood of vipers who are ready to prophesy blessing to anyone including arm robbers, prostitutes, and politically corrupt henchmen as long as they donate to the church.

Who are those building some of our church houses? Occultic fat cats, corrupt politicians, drug dealers, etc., who have no plans to serve God, but are occupying high positions in church because of their financial contributions. No doubt, the church is now debating on issues like Gay marriage, which the Bible outrightly condemns.

When the donors are Gays, occultists, and corrupt politicians, what do you expect from the pulpit?

This is another phase of my protest against modern-day pseudo-churches. Just like Martin Luther the reformer, I'm getting ready with my 99 points to nail on the doors of our modern Pentecostal and charismatic churches. We need a clean-up campaign. Silence no more! So help me God!DrBenard Etta

For What Shall It Profit A Man If He Gain The Whole World & Lose His Soul.Mark 8:36.

Greetings from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. My dear mentees and FB friends, I'm led to share this piece with you all. Read and share your thoughts!

In God's perspective, there is a difference between gain and profit. You can make huge "gains" without profiting anything if what you lose in the process is more valuable than what you gained. Look at the above scripture and may the Lord grant you understanding. To gain the world and lose one's soul is not profitable because the value of a soul is more than the whole world.

The church is supposed to measure profit not in monetary or material terms, but in the souls rescued and empowered. For instance, if a church spends $10.000.00 USD for a conference or crusade and expects to make $15.000.00 USD or more, it's humanistic wisdom, not kingdom. Don't get me wrong!

There is nothing bad if God blesses a program with more financial blessings than what was invested in organizing it. However, when it becomes a perpetual expectation of making financial gains whenever a church hosts a program, then something is stinking. Kingdom people invest money but count their profit in the number of souls saved not money raised. I know I'm already casting out devils.

Listen! We need money to do God's work, but we must be careful not to make money the ultimate expectation of every mission we undertake for God. Some preachers only go to places where they can raise great offerings, and so, villages, towns, and cities without strong currency remain in the dark.

God has to deliver us; even those in the ministry God has given so much material and financial strength, at times, they only go to where they can make more money instead of where they can use their money to save souls.

There is "gain" that leads to loss.

Gain (the world) -Minus-your Soul=No Profit. "Gain" in the world's perspective is measured in monetary and material benefit, profit in God's perspective is measured in the value of souls saved and empowered.

The church needs a fresh perspective of what success and profits are about; it seems the world's values have invaded the church. Listen! If you spend money and save a soul without making money in the process, you have made "profit." You may ask, how would the ministry be sustained if money is not gained from every kingdom endeavor?

God will provide! He may sometimes provide through those you are impacting, but he can also provide from an inspired idea or someone/ somewhere you least expected.

In this times of great economic pressure, may God help us not to confuse making "gain" with making "profit." The church is losing credibility because of the mindset of making money through every kingdom endeavor we undertake. I remember in 2013 after the Great Lake Summit held in Kampala Uganda, I told a minister friend how powerful the program was, and he thought I was referring to the money I got from Uganda. When I told him what we spent and the fact that I left Kampala without $2. 00 USD, but was very excited, he told me, he can't do such ministry work. Guess what! God blessed me later where I bestowed no labor.

When Christ spoke about the harvest, he wasn't talking about the money we can raise anytime we go out for ministry work, but the souls we can save and empower. The legends of faith lose money to save souls, but we seem to be saving money while losing souls. We need to repent if the world we are preaching to would repent. I rest my case! DrBenard Etta

THE CHURCH IN A STATE OF EMERGENCY!

(Restoring the apostolic order is the way forward)

And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone. Eph 2:20

In a situation where just anyone can oversee churches, anyone can declare themselves Chief Apostle or Apostle, Senior Prophet or Prophet, Chief Bishop, etc., and individuals operating as gospel ministers, do so without any Apostolic oversight is best described as "a state of emergency." That is where the church finds herself right now! The church of Jesus Christ is presently in a "state of emergency" and heaven isn't going to allow that to continue. The kingdom of God has its order, and it should be known and respected by anyone who desires to function in it as personnel.

When a genuine move of God invades a city or nation, it will lead to the reduction in the number of churches and not vice versa. A city does not need more than ten ministries or churches to turn it around, and a nation doesn't need a multitude of churches for its transformation. The church, church, church, church, church, church, church "syndrome" on every street corner is not "revival" but the expression of personal ambitions in disguise, coupled with a degree of religious insanity.

Why establish a church or ministry when what you are offering is similar to what everyone around is doing? Why not affiliate and work in a team than running a church without any clear, unique and specific mandate from the Lord? Can Cameroonian Pastors in Maryland USA say Amen! I'll reserve my comments on that for personal consumption.

There are specific unique characteristics those called to oversee churches for the expansion of the Kingdom carry. It is wise to serve as an associate minister within a congregation or to bring your church fellowship/ ministry under Apostolic oversight than to operate a church without divine leadership. Running a church is much more than noise making and releasing proclamations on people weekly coined as prophecies. God's people need more than that!

I couldn't sleep without expressing these thoughts! I may have lost some friends by writing this, but I really don't care anymore. The situation is getting desperate every passing hour, and it is just too late for soft talk while things are degenerating.

If ten ministers truly assigned to a city come together to discuss strategy to subdue the city and to turn it into a territory of God's Kingdom guided by thorough apostolic oversight, there is just nothing that can stop them. The reason it isn't happening now is that anyone can just open a church and declare themselves chief Apostle or Apostle and Senior Prophet or Prophet, thereby shutting the doors for real apostolic oversight. When an individual declares himself an Apostle when he isn't, submitting to real apostolic oversight will be a challenge. It is the same for all other functions in the body of Christ. Pride goes with a false assumption of oneself.

In the apostolic area of the early church, the expansion of the church wasn't done in disorder, but with the help of the Holy Spirit, under the effective coordination and oversight of Apostolic leadership. Philip went to Samaria and preached Christ, and the city was greatly impacted. When the Apostles in Jerusalem heard of the success of Philip's evangelistic outreach, they sent Peter and John who were Apostolic leaders to strengthen the work. Philip, with all the anointing in his life, was still functioning under the oversight of Apostolic leadership, ACTS 8. Can this happen today?

Remember, Peter and John were Pillars of the church, not pillows. Apostolic leadership is not a self-appointment or a function of human ordination, but a divine office based on God's election of grace. And, while Peter and John continued from where Philip ended, the Lord transported Philip to Gaza to meet with the eunuch of Ethiopia. If the work of God then were as dysfunctional as it is today in several quarters, Philip wouldn't have left a city God gave him such a spiritual harvest. In fact, some in ministry today would have made Samaria their headquarters.

Brethren! We are in a state of spiritual chaos right now in the body of Christ. The " state of emergency alert" is higher than it has ever been. We need to seek the Lord for the restoration of true Apostolic Order in the body of Christ to guide the church out of her present quagmire. There are so many parading themselves as apostles, who are not. Rev 2:2. May God help us! Don't Miss the school of the Word! Enrol Today!

You can't solve a problem if you are a part of the problem. The strategy of the forces of darkness to silence anyone is to make the individual a part of the problem the person was destined to solve. The devil has no business stopping anyone from preaching or starting a church or ministry; her goal is to make you a victim of what you were to change via your preaching or ministry. The intent is to render the ministry of anyone who becomes her victim of no consequence. Leaving the individual busy with ministry activities, but changing nothing, and active, but not effective. Could this be the devil's assault weapon against those in places of leadership in ministry today?

I rather not have a ministry or church than to have one, which has no consequence. It's better to do nothing than to be active, but not productive. Ministry that only offers a minister the opportunity to live a better life, but does n't change anything in his or her community is useless. If the presence of a church in a city makes no positive difference, then the absence of that church is better than its presence. The impact of a ministry or church in a community shouldn't be measured by the prosperity of its leader, but by the quality of transformation, it brings to the city.

For more thought provoking and life-transforming insight, enroll in the forthcoming session of GFC International Online School of the Word. STRATEGY FOR UNCOMMON IMPACT!

1) Hide Thyself, (1 Kings 17:3)

2) Show Yourself (1 Kings 18:1)

You can't accomplish much in your nation or generation if you don't understand the above strategy. There is a time to "hide;" no posters, handbills, billboards, TV or Radio programs anywhere, nor conferences, etc. If you think, the ministry is all about being in the public eye every day; you may find yourself someday in the public eye, but with nothing substantial to offer, leading to an irreversible descent into irrelevance.

"Hide Thyself."
Can the young people in ministry today accept to go away from the public eye for three and a half years as Elijah did with the kind of anointing Elijah carried on his life? I wonder-ooooh! Won't they be afraid of losing their spot in the public eye? Many emerging ministers are "bleeding and losing blood" because of wounds they have incurred in the battle, instead of moving away from the public eye, their ego keeps them going as walking deads.

The decade 2000-2010, the Lord used my life and ministry to launch a new era of ministry impact in Cameroon, which led to a significant transformation of lives and the rise of many young voices. But after the year 2010, the Lord told me to do what Elijah did (Hide thyself). It stirred up so much controversy because most people don't walk in wisdom nor understand kingdom strategy for uncommon impact.

When Elijah reappeared after three and a half years of being totally out of the public eye, he turned the nation of Israel back to God in a single day. There are some of you running and doing many things just to impress the public when you were to be in hiding, preparing for a real onslaught against the forces of darkness in your city and nation. You want to please people, forgetting that they didn't call you, and you aren't "a man of the people," but a man of God. So, what people think and say, shouldn't be what you worry about.

Listen! Battles are not won by strength, but by divine strategy. Those who have ears have heard twice even though I have spoken once.Dr.Benard Etta

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Gen: 1:3

What most of us think is that when God said: "let there be light," that was when "light" came into existence. I thought that also for several years until when God opened my understanding to the revelation of truth.

Now, take away the phrase "And God said, Let there be light," what you will have is the phrase, ''and there was light." If this is all you have, what will be the reading? It implies that light has been in existence, even when darkness covered the face of the earth. All God did was to bring it forth by making the right move when he said, LET THERE BE LIGHT! It is like calling someone in a dark room to come. The person is already in the house but needs to be called to present himself.

If someone calls you and you came, it does not mean you were not existing, and merely came into existence when called. No! You existed but only appeared after being invited. Listen! Whatever you are expecting in life is existing. In fact, if it weren't existing, you wouldn't have it. Trying to get something which isn't existing is but fantasy. If it isn't existing, then you shouldn't expect to have it. As God made a move to call for light from the womb of existence, so we have to make certain moves to bring into manifestation what has already existed with our names written on it.

Life is all about accepting responsibility to bring things forth. Nothing happens by chance; it's an assertion in physics that "AN OBJECT IS AT REST UNTIL A FORCE IS APPLY TO IT." That means objects don't move by themselves without an application of force to move them. Remember, four leprous men at the gate of Samaria said to themselves, "Why sit we here until we die?" They decided to make a move and by doing so, they discovered that what they were looking for was already waiting for them.

You can't imagine the enormous power you can activate if you decide to make a move to achieve what you desire. Prayer is good if it is part of a broader strategy to receive what it takes to make things happen. Praying without taking steps will turn anyone, any day into a prey. Some reading this article may be sitting and doing nothing, but expecting the unexpected. That is nothing but superstition. It does not work that way anywhere even in heaven.

Those who sit and do nothing to improve their lives and to get to their dreams, end up as "statutes." Nothing stinks like stagnant water! It is time to go for what you want; aspire to acquire what you desire. It is already waiting for you, but you have to make the right moves. AMAZINGLY! WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR, IS LOOKING FOR YOU. I wish you a great week. Cheers! DrBenard Etta

Exploring the "World"of the Word!

There is a "wealth" of knowledge and wisdom only accessible via the word of God. You can't find such in any secular institution irrespective of the academic quality of the establishment. That's the reason the world is in the chaos we see today.

Every human misery and perplexity have its breakthrough in the word of God. But it takes someone to ascend into the realm of revelation to show the way forward.

The word of God doesn't only exist for us to claim promises or to dish out proclamations on a crowd of "Christians who have refused to grow out of danger." The word of God contains the knowledge of God. Do you know what that means? "The knowledge of God" is different from "the knowledge about God." There is knowledge available to ordinary humans, and knowledge reserved for "gods." What does this mean? Read the text below!

If he called them gods to whom the word of God came and the Scripture cannot be broken. John 10:35. Ponder!

Listen! The whole idea of Christ coming to earth wasn't to make us religious but to give us access to the God life man lost in the fall. The God life feeds and grows only by the word revealed as we walk with God via the help of the Holy Spirit. "The word of God is the world of God." It was this understanding that gave birth to the subject "Biblical Chemistry." Imagine God in your shoes, what would he do and what knowledge and wisdom would he express? Ponder!

"We are in a transition in the body of Christ at the moment.A shift is taking place, and it is crucial for every Kingdom citizen to seek the knowledge of the word on the above shift.

Come October, "Global Faith Coalition International Online School Of The Word," will begin a six-month online Advanced Diploma Course in "Biblical Chemistry," a revolutionary course, unravelling the "world" in the word. We are anticipating a great move of God as the Holy Spirit unveils profound revelation of the knowledge of God in a dimension we haven't experienced. You can contact us for more info@ about the program. We will be looking forward to having you among our inquisitive and word addicted participants. Get in touch! Meanwhile, you can click on the link below for additional information. https://globalfaithcoalition.ning.com/global-faith-coalition…

DID YOU HEAR THAT?

But Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah, and the mighty men, and Solomon his brother, he called not. 1Kings 1:10.

When you are not the cheap type, who can be bought over to patronize a lie, don't expect the "Adonijahs" to invite you to their manmade, ambitious and self-promoted coronations and so-called church/ministerial schemes.

I encourage every inquisitive reader to read and meditate on the full account of the above "drama" in 1Kings 1: 1-9. The whole "drama" began when Adonijah the son of King David, declared his ambition to be king, at a time when the nation of Israel was in dire need for a new leader since David was old and stricken in years.

In those days, Israel wasn't a democracy, but a theocracy. God was their king and he chooses whom he pleases to represent him. He gave them Saul when the people demanded a king from Samuel and when Saul left the path of righteous, God raised David, a man after his heart. So, Adonijah declaring himself king wasn't accordance to the order by which God gives kings to Israel. Moreover, the Lord has already revealed to King David whom his successor will be, and that was Solomon.

However, like all ambitious individuals, Adonijah wanted to be king so badly that he launched a political campaign to get what he wanted. Since he had enough cash to spend, people followed him and he invited some "compromisers" among David's men, but the scripture says, But Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah, and the mighty men, and Solomon his brother, he called not. The question is why?

The answer to the above question is revealing and it sheds light on the drama going on in the church today. The church today is full of Adonijahs, I mean ambitious individuals who want just every religious title they can lay hands on. From "Chief Apostle" to "Bishop," to "Arch Bishop" and to "Cardinal,"etc. We may soon be having several pentecostal "Popes." I dey Laugh!

We thank God for the few genuine Apostles, Bishops, and Arch Bishops we have in the body of Christ, but the fact is, several individuals clamoring for these titles are mere "Adonijahs." God hasn't a file for them yet, but they are ready to spend money, cajole people and even willing to pay some reputable personalities with an appetite for cash, to support their schemes.

They have the money to invite whosoever they please for their "ordinations" and man-made coronations, but the truth is, the only invite those they know are "sellout," people with no integrity who like them, can support them. Did you hear that? They don't invite individuals like prophet Nathan, and Benaiah, and the mighty men of David because these men were close to the king and so, they knew whom the Lord has revealed to succeed King David.

Do we still have such people today? Men of the likes of Samuel who would refuse to anoint those God has not chosen at the determent of the ones God has chosen?

Adonijah didn't invite those he knew can't easily be bought over to patronize a lie. Individuals who knew the truth and can't support error. The rot in several quarters of Christendom is due to a deficiency of such people. It seems every holy office and function is available today to the highest bidders. It seems if you can pay, you can become anything overnight. May God have mercy on us!

Listen! If you are always a guest in most ecclesiastical gatherings in your community, city, nation and beyond, it may not be because of your kingdom insight, status, and fatherliness, but because you are known as someone who has no stand and patronizes everything as long as cash, food, and others are present.

The Adonijahs have no mandate from heaven but are imitators of the ministries of the anointed. They are spiritual "pirates," they copy patterns and messages from those God has mandated and claim that God gave them the revelations. Adonijahs are experts in self-promotion. They know how to get weak people on their side; they sometimes deceive even the elects who are not discerning to endorse them. Imagine if Adonijah succeeded in his scheme, he would have robbed Israel of a golden era of wisdom ordained to be ushered by Solomon. It is tragic when the wrong people occupy the right places. May God save us all! Watch out for part 2!DrBenard Etta

IS IT TIME TO CELEBRATE?

How can we sing the LORD'S song In a strange land? Psalm 137:4

I don't think so, neither is time to live like a "fat cat." We'll definitely celebrate, but not now. Celebrating in a time like this is like singing the Lord's song in a strange land. The state of our world is an indictment against all of us. Even though "celebration" is a fact of life, but it could become a distraction if we make it a major, instead of a natural consequence of achieving the major.

We have a mission, which we are already well behind schedule in fulfilling. Indulging in meaningless celebrations and wasteful spending at this crucial time is an act of insensitivity. We'll definitely celebrate I say it again, but not until the kingdoms of the world become the kingdom of our God and his Christ.

Bragging and showing off our material achievements at this time, is a symptom of semi-madness. It's time to stay focus! We can't afford to leave this world without bringing massive transformation to people, nations, and societies, above all, expanding the influence of the kingdom of God into all sectors and spheres of strategic importance.

Save the celebration and invest to save a soul. Save the extravagance and invest to deliver your community to the one who created all things and by him, all things consist. "Let's start selling what we have and giving to the poor." I'm not talking about charity and welfare here, neither was Christ talking about that either. He was talking about raising the standard of the "fall man" everywhere. Investing in bringing the life-transforming message of the kingdom of God, which is capable of restoring fallen humanity. We will definitely celebrate, but not now!

By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof. For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. How shall we sing the LORD'S song in a strange land? Psalm 137:1-4
Be blessed!

THE MISCARRIAGE OF EXPECTATION!

We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen. Isaiah 26:18

Read and ponder on the above scriptural verse, what do you see?

When a woman is pregnant, the normal expectation is for her to deliver a baby( A human being with life either male or female) after nine months. Imagine a situation where the husband gets to the hospital on the day of delivery, to welcome the newborn baby, only to be told that the wife brought forth wind! What a miscarriage of expectation!

That was the state of Israel in our scriptural text. Israel was with child; she went through the pain of delivery but brought forth wind. Let's consider some few characteristics of wind to see why the above scenario was a miscarriage of expectation.

i) The Wind is momentary.
ii) The wind is invisible.

Thus, what Israel gave birth to, was momentary. It lasted only for minutes; it was all but noise with no residue for the present or future generation. It was fanfare without substance. The impact remained within the four walls of the delivery room (Within the church building / crusade ground). It didn't get to the people in the street nor did it spread into all sectors of the society. It was momentary!

What then was the consequence of such a miscarriage of expectation? The scriptures say; "we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen."

i) They wrought no deliverance in the earth, leaving the earth in captivity just as they met it. There was activity, but no productivity; noise, but no impact. There was busyness, but no real kingdom business.

ii) The inhabitants of the world saw nothing to cause them to fall before God. There was no true repentance nor transformation, and as a result, things remained the same.

The same scenario is playing out today. There are ministries and churches everywhere and ministers multiplying in their numbers. Everyone is claiming a special mandate from heaven with titles to support it. We seem to be with child; we go through pain to plant new churches, grow existing ones, expand into new territories, and host numerous programs. But the state of our world (Our communities, towns, cities and nations) is a clear indication that, despite our various efforts, we seem to have brought forth wind.

"We have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen." The above situation should move us to tears in search for God afresh, putting away our arrogance, pride and boastfulness in pursuit of a real breakthrough. It's what we must do or risk being spued out of his mouth. Rev 3:16-19. Watch out for part 2.Share if you can! DrBenard Etta

Is There Not A Cause?

There are always few of the likes of MARTIN LUTHER (the reformer) in every generation. The world is full of people who always like to "play safe." They can't stand for anything, especially if it threatens their religious position or source of livelihood. All they do is talk behind, but no action.

Christianity today needs men and women of the calibre of MARTIN LUTHER (the reformer) to rebuke the hypocrisy and gross abuses going on within Christendom. The challenge is, "who will bell the cat?" Everyone seems to be protecting his or her source of income. No one wants to risk, no one wants to be called names, no one wants to be rejected, we all want to "belong." That's where the "wahala" is!

We know what is right, but we lack the courage to step out and to make a difference. That's what I called the "Nicodemus attitude;" he was aware that Christ was the Messiah, but was too afraid of his religious position to openly standout and to speak out. Imagine the additional impetus someone like Nicodemus would have brought into the Jesus movement if he publicly identified with it!

We need another LUTHER's generation especially in a time like this when the Church has returned to the sales of indulgences. The blood of Jesus is now on sale. So-called anointed artifacts, holy and anointed oil, water, handkerchiefs, bangles, enlarged photos of men of God are big businesses. Silence at this hour isn't only compromising, but an indication of being an accomplice.

I have taken my stand! I know what it has cost me and what is costing me, but I have no plan for retreat or surrender. Some of you read my post, and you claim to believe in the need for a spiritual revolution, but you seem to be too careful to commit to the cause. The kingdom of God is facing severe assaults today not from its opponents, but from its exponents. Would you decide today to come out of your shell and to join the kingdom revolution and be counted in your city? Heaven isn't sitting, but standing in wait for volunteers. It's time!

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me! Matt 16:24.

Let the revolution begin!

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

"The New creation" in Christ isn't someone putting on religious regalia's and immersed in church activities, but someone whose heart and mind have undergone a rebirth, and whose life is reflecting the mindset and lifestyle of another world (Heaven) on the earth. To be a New creation in Christ isn't something you become by merely confessing that you are, but who you become through an experience with God. What you do not know, you can't enjoy. It would take the New Creation in Christ to respond to the groaning of creation in this hour.

The local church was supposed to be "God's factory" where the New creation in Christ are birth not an environment for baseless religiosity and endless recycling of one and the same experiences, which leave Christians perpetually depended on their leaders for prayers, healing, deliverance and counseling. This kind of religiosity blinds, handicaps and reduces people into high maintenance and low impact converts. Christ is waiting to see the manifestation of his New Creation in this time of the world's darkest hour.

The scripture didn't say, "Therefore if any man be "in Church," he is a new creation," but "in Christ." To be "in" something is to be immersed and lost in it and beloved, I've to be sincere to you, it takes a walk and experience with the Lord to get there. I know we are living in a time when some individuals are trying to cheapen serious divine experiences in other to increase their denominational membership or television audience. See what we got as a result of our cheapening of truth; we got millions of people in Church who have been there for years, but are strangers to the revelation of truth, confused and of no real consequence to the cause of Christ.

Today in some quarters of Christendom, who really cares about helping people to deepen their experience and walk with the Lord? What matters most is the "tithes and offerings" flowing in from unregenerate souls who are longing for God, but finding none to show them the way. Since the competition among some in Christendom is centered on "who got the best church building," "most expensive cars," "who goes on vacation to the most lavish resorts" and the person with the highest number of security personnel in his or her entourage, and the one whose wife wears the most expensive jewelries and others, etc, getting money to cater for "all these" and to keep up with the competition, has made the real focus of the gospel and God''s kingdom issues of lesser priority.

Meetings where money is raised are preferred over those where people are humbled before the Lord in repentance and dedication to Christ kingdom revolution. There is nothing wrong with raising money to fund real kingdom projects, but when raising money becomes the hidden agenda for every important meeting, then something is definitely wrong. We need a reordering of our values in Christendom. We seem more lost in church, then the people we are trying to convert. We need a "rude awakening," which would uproot, pull down and destroy the carnality and fleshly empires we are building in God's name in order for God to plant and build us into his New Creation in Christ, capable of restoring fallen creation into harmony with the one who created all things. Lord! Let the revolution begin! Be blessed! From your Friend, reaching you from his own Island of Patmos." DrBenard Etta

It's Time To Set Your Agenda!

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Gen 1:3.

I hope you got the revelation. That's exactly what it takes to see a positive revolution. God, by saying, "Let there be light," he actually set his agenda. Listen! Let me talk to you. You need the courage to set your agenda, I mean what you really want to see done. Be specific!

Before God stepped out to announce his agenda, the scripture says, "the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep." Did you hear that? If you were in God's place, what would you have done?

God didn't deny the fact that there was darkness, but he stepped out and clearly spell out his agenda. "Let there be light." His agenda was light! Do you see that? Change doesn't come by guessing, you must have a clear agenda you are willing to deploy all the might God has given you to bring about.

The latter part of the text says, "and there was light." You see, God set his agenda and it came to pass just as he wanted it. Goal setters are goal getters!

Some of you are afraid to step out and to boldly declare the agenda for your ministry or business for fear of failure. Leaders are bold, where are you coming from? Chicken heart-ed individuals can't possess their promised land.

God saw the darkness on the face of the earth, but that didn't stop him from making bold his agenda. In 2013, I heard him say, as from 2015 and beyond, go and empower 10.000 people in the city of Bamenda Cameroon, and same in Yaoundé and Douala to discover, develop and to maximize their potential to fulfill their purpose of existence via mentorship. I made bold my God's given agenda to my inner circle and am about to make it to the entire city of Bamenda as a five-year plan. I remember one of my young men said to me, sir, why not just keep working without necessarily setting such an agenda? I looked at him and smiled, and told him, you can't accomplish much without setting targets.

God said, "let there be light;" he set his agenda. Go and do the same. Stop wishing for success, create it. God bless you! Dr.Benard Etta

(Don't Read This If You Aren't For Real Spiritual Revolution)
The New Testament era only came into effect after the death of Christ, not during his birth, life and ministry as recorded in the gospels. Heb 9: 16. Why? Think in order not to stink and sink in empty religiosity.
This understanding is fundamental in unlocking the New Testament revelation. Those call to serve as ministers of the New Testament, need much more than theological degrees and ecclesiastical titles, they can only do so effectively if like the Apostle Paul, they embrace the fellowship of the sufferings of Christ, being made conformable unto his death. Phil 3:10. This is so serious! We wonder why we have churches everywhere, but little is changing, this is where the "wahala" is. We want to give life, but we don't want to "die," which is the only way by which we can experience his life. 2Cor 4:8-12.
For as the scriptures say, "flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God." 1 Cor 15:50. The greatest enemy of God's people isn't the devil, neither the world, but the "flesh" we have refused to crucify. It is very easy to handle the devil and the world if we crucify the "flesh." Gla 5: 19:21.
Ministry done in the "flesh" can attract earthly riches and material abundance, but can't produce true kingdom people. "Flesh" can't give birth to spirit. The scriptures say, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." John 3:6.
We have churches and ministries born in the "flesh," you see the crowd, but nothing substantial in the lives of the people. A ministry born in the spirit, will raise people after God's heart. Which would you go for, the one born in the "flesh" to pamper your "flesh" or the one born of the spirit, to help you crucify the "flesh" in order for you to experience true resurrection? This decision awaits everyone in this era.
The spirit is the true nature and character of God and the New Testament era isn't an era for mere crowd following, which doesn't translate into real transformation and the rebirth of God's true nature and character in people's lives. The true test of the effectiveness of a minister is not in the miracles he or she performs, but in the grace to birth the true nature and character of God in people. Gla 4: 19.
What's the essence of a so- called "house of God," which has turned into a den of thieves, idolaters, murderers, and whores? Do we think God is impressed by the large donations we make out of individuals we are "rearing in the flesh," in our so-called house of God whom we haven't told the truth for fear of losing their support? If God's house is a workshop as we often quote, then it shouldn't leave people the way they came.
A ministry born in the flesh may look flamboyant, but in God's eyes it isn't better than a mortuary. How many of such "mortuaries" do we have today? If the New Testament began effectively after the death of Christ, it implies, no one can effectively minister who doesn't "die daily" by crucifying the "flesh" and its canal desires. 1 Cor 15:31. Gla 5:24
Christ cast out demons from a man and sent them into pigs feeding around. Why? Pigs love dirt! Are we "rearing pigs" under our denominational roofs or raising true disciples of Christ? Let's wake up and stop all these "fleshly" and "carnal" ministerial fanfare. We don't have the time for such anymore. Those who are not really ready to lay down their lower life for the higher one should have no business occupying the pulpit. Flesh and blood will not inherit the kingdom of God. Ponder! DrBenard Etta

Reach Out & Build Bridges!

What if your next level is tied to someone outside your social, religious or cultural "world?" The scriptures admonish us to be kind enough to entertain strangers. Heb 13:2.
Who is a stranger?
A stranger is basically someone you aren't familiar with, who isn't a part of your social, cultural or religious environment. Most of the time in scripture, God used total strangers to connect individuals to their breakthrough, which is contrary to the belief that one should never trust a total stranger, but at times, it is worth the risk.
When you build walls around yourself and relate only with those within your social, cultural or religious circle, you unconsciously barricade yourself from many blessings and sooner or later, you would become narrow-minded, unrealistic, and blind. It's time to take the risk and to wisely open your world to "strangers." You might have close your doors to your angels, remember Abraham welcomed three people to his home and entertained them. It turned out that those three individuals were angels on an assignment to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. The Angels later revealed their mission to Abraham and also told him that his wife Sarah will have a son in her old age. Gen 18: 1-22.
What if Abraham was too careful to welcome the three strangers to his house? Answer for yourself!
We all know the story of Rahab the harlot, she saved herself and family simply by welcoming and providing a hideout for the two spies Joshua sent to spy the city of Jericho. Joshua 2/ 6.
What of Cornelius? He was a devout man, one who fears God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always. However, God decided to visit him only through a stranger. Acts 10: 1-48.
Listen! Nobody is coming to eat your food; no one is interested in your money. You need the "strangers" more than they need you. Don't be selfish to yourself, get that dam door open. Watch-out for part 2.
