Read and meditate on the messages to the churches Revelations 2 & 3. They were written by and under GRACE. Still, there were forthright, not sugarcoated, as our present-day purported grace messages. Who lied to us?
God used the seven churches in Asia Minor, present-day Turkey, as platforms to deliver timeless messages to the churches throughout the church age.
"Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches."
Revelation 3:22 (NLT)
Every serious believer and minister should read and meditate on the letters to the churches as recorded in Revelation 2&3 and ask God for ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to us even today.
The only thing holding us back and preventing us from seeing how ”Laodicean” we have become is our pride in our physical and material achievements. Like the church in Laodicea, we consider ourselves the most successful church of the church age because of our wealth and physical achievements, but the Lord is saying 👉we are poor, miserable, blind, and naked.
But do we see our actual condition? 👈
If we seek the Lord to anoint our eyes to see, our so-called Jericho must fall meetings, and ”operation kill every Herod will be replaced with solemn assemblies for repentance and reconsecration of our lives to the one who is Holy and True.

Revelation 3:17-19
You say, `I am rich. I have everything I want. I don't need a thing!' And you don't realise that you are wretched and poor and blind and naked. So I advise you to buy gold from me—gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will be rich buy white garments from me so you will not be shamed by your nakedness, and ointment for your eyes so you can see. I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference.

Ephesians 4:11-14
👉Now, these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers.
👉Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.
👉This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God's Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.
👉Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won't be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.
Ephesians 4:11-14 (NLT) -------------------------------------
These days, standing before a crowd or those we have gathered seems to be the breakthrough and not what they become afterwards. The chief aims of ministry have nothing to do with merely gathering people but with who and what they become through our ministry. Let this sink!
Gathering people in an era marked by gullibility can't be an achievement. People gather daily to watch their favourite comedians, musicians, and others. In ministry, we are not called to make a name by the people we gather but by fulfilling Ephesians 4:11-14.
How many men and women showcasing themselves as kingdom ministers are fulfilling the chief aims of ministry? If we were good at it as expected, we wouldn't have been dealing with the mob of church folks today who are easily deceived by anyone with a new ideology, charismatic display or interpretation of Scripture.
People can start churches today by looking at a person and describing their home or family members and what they ate before attending a meeting. Guess those who rush and submit under them! Some purported pastors. We are in trouble, brethren, but there is a solution. It is an aggressive repositioning of the fivefold ministry campaign.

We should not ignore the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. It has the potential to transform the world we know into Something else. Let's read the handwriting on the wall and do the needful.
Most of us are pondering if the war between Russia and Ukraine may result in a Nuclear exchange between Russia and NATO. Yes, it seems more likely than when the war started.
We sometimes dismiss the thought of a nuclear war or others because we believe our prayers can prevent them. Yes, prayers can change things, but not everything. Ukrainians prayed and believed that the war would not occur, but it is ongoing and has lasted for several months.
Why?
Let me share a few reasons from a kingdom perspective.
1) A world that has turned its back on God can't enjoy absolute peace and stability. That is why Christ admonished us not to lay our treasures on earth. Matthew 6:19–20
Do you think people care despite the above word of wisdom from Christ? If most believers who read the Bible don't care much about its instruction these days, what of worldly people?
2) The second reason why sometimes, despite our prayers, such evils still occur is that we often pray for peace and safety to keep chasing our goals and not the purpose of God. Especially in today's world, most of God's people only give Him lips service. They seek God when they want his protection and other breakthroughs but are careless about His agenda, talkless of positioning themselves as partners with God to actualise His plans on earth. That is why we pray at times without prevailing.
Before the war, Ukraine had more churches and believers than any European country. The question is, did they bother to go all over Europe to spread the word? Well, now they are doing just that because the war has forced them to flee from their comfort zones.
It is sad but true that most people only think about God when their comfort, life and others are at stake.
What the people of Ukraine spent their lifetime building is now turned into rubbles. Once thriving cities and tourist destinations are now ghost towns.
When we watch the images from Ukraine, do we learn anything?
Today, it is Russia and Ukraine; who knows where next? What if the present war spiral into a third world war?
We aren't talking about the bombs used against Hiroshima and Nagasaki (Japan) by the United States army during the Second World War but bombs capable of wiping out half of the world's population.
At times I feel like Abraham when he was interceding for Sodom, hoping that the Lord would find ten righteous men but sadly, there weren't. Sodom's people were obsessed with sexual pleasure and experiments like today.
If the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine doesn't graduate into a nuclear exchange, then that means God, in His infinite mercy, gave humanity a bit more time. However, if God was to consider the state of the world and the church, the apocalypse would be here! We pray for His mercy!
Put yourself in God's shoes, and you will sense the pain of his betrayal after sending his only son to die for humanity; still, people have deliberately turned their backs on Him. Worst still, his people have abandoned his ways and are prostituting themselves with all forms of worldly vanities and idols.
Brethren, let's hope for the best, but while doing so, we should proactively engage in learning how to live in the world during a third world war between the world's nuclear powers!
Hosea 10:12
Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the LORD, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.

Revelation 2:12-17 (NLT)
Write this letter to the angel of the church in Pergamum. This is the message from the one with the sharp two-edged sword: "I know you live in the city where Satan has his throne, yet you have remained loyal to me. You refused to deny me even when Antipas, my faithful witness, was martyred among you there in Satan's city.
👇👇👇
"But I have a few complaints against you. You tolerate some among you whose teaching is like that of Balaam, who showed Balak how to trip up the people of Israel. He taught them to sin by eating food offered to idols and committing sexual sins. In a similar way, you have some Nicolaitans among you who follow the same teaching.
👇👇👇
Repent of your sin, or I will come to you suddenly and fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
👇👇👇👇
"Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give some of the manna that has been hidden away in heaven. And I will give to each one a white stone, and on the stone will be engraved a new name that no one understands except the one who receives it. Revelation 2:12-17 (NLT)
👇👇👇👇
Christ commended the Church in Pergamum for their Loyalty to Him but rebuked their lack of forthrightness against the False teachings promoted by some in the church. Isn't that one of the spiritual plagues of our times? Today, being closed-lip against false teachings and their propagators is, to some, the act of minding their business.
It is understandable. Today's culture has forced many Christian leaders to teach the word as if they must apologise for what the scripture says. In trying to be relevant, we are gradually embracing unbiblical shifting paradigms. We don't want to be cancelled by the Left or lose the financial support of those within our churches who hold the teachings of Balaam and Nicolaitans. We don't want to rock the boat! We want to be seen as nice, but that has placed Christ and us on a collision course.
When the true gospel of Christ and the message of the kingdom is properly preached and taught, some people will be Glad; others will be Sad or Mad. It isn't our role to make it acceptable, but the Spirit that convicts. John 16:8
There are doctrines, belief systems and others which aren't compatible with our faith, and it is time we become forthright when declaring the whole counsel of God! The gospel of inclusivity and universality that remove ancient landmarks is anti-Christian, and we must speak against it.
God loves all, but we must come to Him through Christ to be saved. That involves embracing the life and teachings of Christ and being established on the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, and Christ the chief cornerstone. Ephesians 2:20. Help, Lord! Revelation 2:12-17 (NLT)

You say, `I am rich. I have everything I want. I don't need a thing!' And you don't realise that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. Revelation 3:17 (NLT) Ponder!
What do you see? The contrast between the Church in Smyrna and Laodicea speaks volumes.
In suffering and poverty, the church in Smyrna was described as Rich, while the Lord said the church in Laodicea; that bragged about its wealth was 👉wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked. Chai
God's perspective is higher than ours. What is the context of the suffering and poverty of the Church in Smyrna? Check out the audio message @ Dr Etta's Audio Library.
If most emerging leaders today are given the option to choose between the church in Smyrna and Laodicea, you don't need a prophet to tell you their choice. Perspective! Perspective 😭😭

👇👇 Revelation 2:9(NLT) "I know about your suffering and your poverty—but you are rich! I know the blasphemy of those opposing you. They say they are Jews, but they are not because their Synagogue belongs to Satan. Revelation 2:9 (NLT)
Note👉 I know the blasphemy of those opposing you. 👈
Who were these people?
👉They say they are Jews, but they are not👈
May the Lord open our eyes👀 There is nothing new under the sun.
What were they doing within the church in Smyrna?
The seven Churches in Asia Minor were predominantly Jewish believers but were infiltrated by those who said they were Jews but were not.
Doesn't that sound familiar? I've taught about this ancient strategy of the forces of evil on several platforms; still, many aren't getting it. It is even more dangerous when church leaders don't seem to get it.
👉" They say there are Jews but are not👈
👉We can create an entire list of" they say." E.g. 👇 👉They say they, too, are members of the body of Christ, but they are not. 👉They say they are Apostles, Prophets, spiritual fathers and fathers of faith, but they aren't. 👈
When they say they are this or that, if you have hyper-illumination and discernment, you will see through the charade and makeup packaging they use to deceive the unsuspecting. May God save His people.
So many are being deceived by people who say they are this and that but aren't what they profess.
Needed! Needed! 👉Sharp Spiritual discernment. The days are evil.
What was their mission within the church in Smyrna?
👇👇👇
It was to establish a parallel movement that looked like what was happening but wasn't. Every genuine move of God always has a parallel counterfeit movement designed to set confusion and mislead those without light to think they are all the same.
The Lord said these people who said they were Jews but were not; their acclaimed Synagogue wasn't a sort of" House of God" but belonged to Satan. Hmmm
I can preach ten thousand messages on the above. We are dealing today with many Synagogues of Satan desperate for recognition and acceptance as a part of the body of Christ. It isn't a new phenomenon. It is an ancient strategy to fight and kill a movement from within.
You aren't an effective leader who can lead and guide God's people in these critical times if you know little about the strategies of the forces of evil. Check out the entire audio message @ Dr Etta's Audio Library.

Acts 26:28.Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
Almost means ”not quite, nearly but not, just about, etc., Don't be an ”ALMOST CHRISTIAN. ” Almost scored is not a goal.
We have ”Almost Christians” in their millions, but they are absent when it comes to being counted for the kingdom.
”Almost Christians” set their standards and choose only Scriptures that make them feel good, but when it comes to consecration to Christ and his kingdom, count them out. They don't sign up for that!
That's why gathering a mod of people to make them ”Almost Christians” is not the great commission but making disciples of all nations.
Matthew 28:18-20
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
”Almost Christians” are today the greatest market the false prophets, teachers, and apostles have since they can be easily manipulated and can't read between the lines. They are the patrons of our modern-day pseudo-ministries since they crave to entertain their flesh than crucify it.
One of the most challenging assignment one can ever undertake is to attempt to transform this pool of ”Almost Christians” we have everywhere into disciples. It is like taking an unwilling horse to a stream to drink water.
It takes a radical encounter with God to convert an Almost Christian. I pray the Lord gives us grace for this mission. It isn't an easy assignment but possible with God! Amen
"Look! I am sending my messenger
Malachi 3:1-3 (NLT)
"Look! I am sending my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me. Then the Lord you are seeking will suddenly come to his Temple. The messenger of the covenant, whom you look for so eagerly, is surely coming," says the LORD of Heaven's Armies. "But who will be able to endure it when he comes? Who will be able to stand and face him when he appears? For he will be like a blazing fire that refines metal, or like a strong soap that bleaches clothes. He will sit like a refiner of silver, burning away the dross. He will purify the Levites, refining them like gold and silver, so that they may once again offer acceptable sacrifices to the LORD. Malachi 3:1-3 (NLT)
"Then the Lord You Are Seeking will Suddenly Come To His Temple?"
-The million-dollar question is, what got Him out of the temple?
-Do you now realise that a temple can exist in God's name, but He isn't there?
-The Lord wants to come to his temple. What is keeping Him away?
1) Our romance with sin
2) Unrepented ministers on the pulpits
3) Hero worship of men and women of the "Church."
4) Occultism in his Church and more!
The messengers the Lord is releasing aren't coming to join in the hand clapping and hero worship going on in the Church. They will leave no stone unturned; prepare for a rumbling in the temple.
The process of preparing the way of the Lord isn't easy. Ask bulldozers who create paths in the forest zone; they will tell you that so many things are pulled down, plucked up and destroyed for a road to be made. Jeremiah 1:10.
I have heard from heaven, "A storm of End Time messengers will soon sweep across the Church's landscape. It will look like they are causing trouble, but it will be 'good trouble' as a requirement for the preparation of the way of the Lord. Are we ready for these messengers? Good trouble is coming!

Revelation 2:21-23 (NLT)
I gave her time to repent, but she did not want to turn away from her immorality. "Therefore, I will throw her on a bed of suffering,* and those who commit adultery with her will suffer greatly unless they repent and turn away from her evil deeds. I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am the one who searches out the thoughts and intentions of every person. And I will give to each of you whatever you deserve. Revelation 2:21-23 (NLT)
Did you hear that?
Grace time has an expiration. Someone living in gross immorality could still jump around singing or preaching. When you don't know that God always gives grace time, you may think God endorses their lifestyle. No! They are in their grace time.
You may want to know what grace time is👉 I gave her time to repent👈. That's grace time!
God gives grace time to individuals, churches, nations, and an entire generation, but we must know that grace time is not eternity. There is a point if we fail to repent and continue in iniquity, God's judgement will be unleashed; God doesn't have to wait until death to judge people.
As I am writing, there are individuals, groups, communities, cities and nations under God's judgement. Why? God gave them time to repent, but they didn't.
Those who think living in the era of grace means judgement is Old Testament haven't read their Bible thoroughly.
Look at these Scriptures.
Hebrews 2:2-3
The message God delivered through angels has always stood firm, and every violation and act of disobedience was punished. So what makes us think we can escape if we ignore this great salvation that was first announced by the Lord Jesus himself and then delivered to us by those who heard him speak?
-------------------------------------------
Romans 1:18
But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness.*
Romans 1:18
---------------------------------------------
Hebrews 10: 26-27
Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins. There is only the terrible expectation of God's judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies. Hebrews 10:26-27
--------------------------------------------
We can go on and on. God is a God of Grace but also a God of Justice. Psalm 89:14. That's why heaven doesn't have an open border policy; you must meet the requirements to get in. Those who know, know. Revelation 21:27.
Let's stop overstretching God's grace. There is a point judgment takes over from grace. Let's be warned and stop playing games.

Revelation 2:20 (NLT)
"But I have this complaint against you. You are permitting that woman—that Jezebel who calls herself a prophet—to lead my servants astray. She teaches them to commit sexual sins and to eat food offered to idols.
-----------------------------------------------
Why was the church in Thyatira indifferent and tolerant to Jezebel and her immorality? Are we playing the same card of indifference today towards the Jezebels operating within the church? It seems more like we have exceeded the church in Thyatira in compromise.
Note the following about Jezebel.
I) She called herself a prophetess. It wasn't God who called her. Hmmm
2) She made the servants of God comfortable with the sin of immortality. Do you call that ministry?
I know we'll be quick to call her out while protecting the ones within our present-day Pentecostal movement( male & female). Today is Sunday; sadly, some of you will sit under the anointing of Jezebel and give sacrificially due to a lack of discernment.
May the Lord set you free.
The church in Thyatira saw her as a great prophetess of God, but God saw her for who she was👉Jezebel.
Who were these servants of God she taught to commit sexual immorality and eat food offered to idols? If the Lord called them his servants, that's who they were.
The question is, what happened to their discernment? Could it be that there were also on her payroll or merely playing to the gallery? Ponder!
Some people are" follow, follow." They have no balls and go with the wind. Maybe they thought confronting Jezebel would divide the body of Christ because, to them, the body of Christ is everyone within the church. 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Who will bell the cat?
No one wanted to lose preaching engagements by confronting Jezebel and being considered arrogant by fellow ministers. There is no end to why the church in Thyatira allowed Jezebel to continue her dangerous mission.
Do you see the similarities between the church in Thyatira and our today's Pentecostal movement? If you don't see it, you are likely a victim of Jezebelish anointing, and you desperately need help.
We are under siege by numerous male and female Jezebels whose harm exceeds that of the church in Thyatira. What have we done? We have chosen the path of appeasement with evil.
Who will bell the cat?
Where are the Elijahs? Where are the Jehu's? Oh God, send revolutionary fire to awaken the sleeping church. We must arise and tell Jezebel that enough is enough. The time is now. Let the revolution begin!

QUESTION
Happy Sunday, Men and women of God.
Good morning to you, Dr Pastor.
Pastor, you made a statement last time concerning some misunderstanding going on actually within the body of Christ; based on the misinterpretation of the word, you said: --- most preachers are losing focus as they strive to please their fan base by being controversial.
I'm sure you are aware of what's going on actually within the body of Christ (especially in Nigeria) concerning TITHES.
👉🏽Pastor Creflo Dollar said all tapes & books he produced on TITHES Christian must gather and burn
👉🏽 Prophet Uebert Angel respond that he should refund back all the money 💰 he had collected since 😅
👉🏽 Benny Hinn said in the book of act Christian none of the Christian lack AFTER THEY GAVE
👉🏽 Dr Abel Damina responded and said: Christian was not lacking because what they will bring, they will share it among them such that none of them will lack.
He said: "Pastor Benny Hinn, you are lying" he even precise you are lying in public🤥.
WHAT'S GOING ON????
Please, Doctor, I beg you can you help us to address this super-mega controversial topic: TITHE.
What is the problem here?
I these are the elements I identified:
👉 TITHE is an old testament principle ==> should be abolished.
👉🏽 TITHE should be given by a Christian because HE IS ALREADY BLESS, not TO BE BLESS.
👉🏽 We are not PAYING TITHE; we GIVE TITHE
😅 please, Doctor, Help us understand this thin ooohh
Precision: when I said the elements I identified, I mean the several interpretations I noticed
MY RESPONSE!
I didn't want to say anything on this subject because I have addressed it in my previous write-ups, but I'll say a few things because of your insistence. Let me begin by saying that I don't have anyone paying their tithes to me. So, what I have to say is purely out of love for my father's house.
First, let's put aside the name "TITHES, "which may be the problem some people are having. Let's focus on the purpose, as mentioned in Malachi 3:10. "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house."
"That there may be meat (Provision) in mine house."
1 Peter 2:5 says:
Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
So, the concept of the house of God has not changed; in the past, it referred to physical buildings, but today, we are collectively the house of God.
Just as in our homes, things can't run effectively without provision; it is the same with the house of God (Community of the saints).
The "house of God" needs meat (Provision), and it will not come from angels but within the community of the saints. Whether you call it tithes or offerings, the bottom line is "the house of God needs provision.
Have charlatans exploited it to their advantage? A big yes, but condemning it sends the wrong message.
First, it gives Christians whose God is their belly( who worship themselves) reasons to be more greedy. In fact, they are the most excited about this debate. I am talking about Christians whose countenance changes whenever they hear the words, "Offering time."
Second, it doesn't hinder the charlatans who are the reason for this debate from making money. The reason is that they have their "blood of Jesus," Lion of Judah, Holy Water, soap, salt water, Faith Bracelet and others to sell. They sell prayers and altar calls to meet them on the pulpit or privately in their hotels.
But genuine kingdom assignments may suffer because of this witch-hunt against giving.
Creflo Dollar built his church empire on tithes. He is coming out to say what he said, knowing fully well that the offerings from his congregation and others can still carry him for many years. However, his outing will make things hard for the young ones in the ministry.
The gospel is free, but it costs to take it to the world. It also costs so much to take care of the people of God. I'm talking out of experience. When people come to the Lord and leave their illegal businesses and relationships, the church needs to sustain them until they get something. If you aren't close to the inner circle of a genuine ministry, you will not know.
The early church didn't teach tithes because it was a revival movement where people were willing to give everything, but I am sure, when things became institutionalised, they had ways to raise funds in their local congregations to fund the house of God.
There are always consequences when we focus on our homes and forget the house of God. Please read Haggai 1: 3-11. If people are discouraged from giving, the only people who will have resources are the charlatans; imagine what they will do.
Let's consider our ways!
Dr Benard Etta GFC Visionary
You can't receive an impartation (a rich deposit of grace) from a man or woman of God( not charlatans) merely by gleaning from their wealth of knowledge and wisdom.
To receive a rich deposit of grace from anyone you consider a role model or mentor, you've to practically be a part of their journey or by revelation. Elisha didn't just learn from Elijah, he was part of his journey, and as a result, he received the double portion of his anointing.
The sons of the prophets urged him to return; even Elijah encouraged him, but he insisted and continued his pursuit for the double portion of the anointing by being a part of Elijah's journey, and he finally got what he was looking for.
Many in Christendom today study the glory of individuals but aren't ready to be a part of their story. Paul didn't just talk about his desire to know the power of Christ's resurrection. He also talked about experiencing the fellowship of Christ's sufferings.
Today, we want his power to gain the spotlight but dread the fellowship of his sufferings.
There was once a child whose mother had an ugly face, and each time he was among his peers, they made fun of his mother's face. The child was always embarrassed; one day, he summoned the courage and asked the mother why her face was ugly.
The mother sat him down and told him the story. She said, "Son, there was a day I went out to fetch water; on coming back, I realised that the room you were sleeping in was on fire. I couldn't hold myself, knowing well that the fire could consume you; I had to jump into the fire to save your life. God helped me get you out of the room, but in the process, I had severe burns on my face, which resulted in the present condition of my face."
On hearing the story, the child hugged the mother and started sweeping. And the ugliness of her mother's face became a symbol of her love and sacrifice for his life. After that day, the child who was always ashamed of the mother's appearance saw it as a mark of valour.
The above story has a lot to teach us about leadership and anointing. You can't receive rich "impartation" of grace and anointing from someone merely by loving their knowledge and wisdom; if you are ashamed of their cross.
True anointing has a price; you can learn under someone and even talk like them without really experiencing a rich deposit from the individual's life. Listen, if you say someone is your mentor, then don't only study their glory; be a part of their story. Don't only admire their status; get to know their cross and be proud of it.
Many young men and women greatly admire my ministry impact; they want to teach and impact lives like I do but are ashamed of my cross. As a result, sadly, some of them have strayed away and made a shipwreck of their walk with God.
Ministry isn't head knowledge, but heart knowledge, which comes with pain. This truth isn't for those seeking Hollywood-style ministerial celebrity status but for the Elisha-s of the 21st-century church.
The bottom line is this, don't expect a rich deposit of grace and anointing from someone you're ashamed of their cross. No cross, no crown!
Do You Still Want The Anointing?
After reading this, do you still want anointing? 😄🤣🤣
Do see now see why many church folks are just talkers. They can give you an exegesis on grace but aren't manifesting grace. I mean, they are graceless.
Some on social media who don't want to humble themselves and learn but are quick to teach what they don't know will tell you that they don't need an impartation of anyone's anointing. To them, that was an Old Testament thing. They will get theirs directly from Jesus. 😄🤣🤣
That's why some have no legendary kingdom impact associated with their Christianity except for the controversy and confusion they spread on social media. 😄🤣🤣 They are on Facebook and other social media platforms writing and commenting trash under people's posts because it costs nothing to be there.😄🤣🤣 Let Facebook put a little something financial as a requirement; you will see them running for another free platform. 😄🤣🤣
A great mind said, "There is no polite way to talk to someone delusional." For the first time in the history of Christianity, we have an unteachable generation that knows practically so little but believes they know so much.
Yes, there is an anointing that every child of God is entitled to, as recorded in 1 John 2:20. This anointing permits a child of God to differentiate the truth from error. Sadly, some aren't using it because of their loyalty to personalities than Christ. So, whatever their "champions of Gath" say and do, it is right even if the scripture is contrary.
However, Impartation (the transfer of divine virtue) from one generation to the next remains a kingdom principle.
Christ breathed on his disciples to receive the Holy Spirit (Impartation) days to Pentecost (John 20:22).
Timothy was encouraged to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in him, imparted through the laying on of Paul's hands (2 Timothy 1:6).
The virtue of faith young Timothy had had a generational connection- from his grandmother Lois to his mother Eunice and then to him. (2 Timothy 1:5). We call that generational Impartation.
Read and Meditate on 1 Timothy 4:14-15
Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given you through the prophecy spoken over you at the laying on of the hands of the elders. Be diligent in these matters and absorbed in them so that your progress will be evident to all.
So, it is ignorant to say that you will only deal with Jesus Christ regarding anointing because of the havoc charlatans are causing within the church world.
The reason behind what is going on is that the devil wants to provoke people to close up even from genuine biblical principles, and it seems he is succeeding.
You don't cancel a principle because of its abuse; the right thing to do is to understand its proper application. Sadly, people are advocating for biblical principles to be cancelled because of the abuse by some individuals on clerical attires. That is an error in itself!
Creating another error while fighting against errors is not reformation but confusion.
When it comes to certain levels of kingdom responsibility and impact, Impartation from those God has prepared, equipped and sent before you is vital.
If you are Cornelius (Acts 10) and heaven says you should meet Peter, it would be spiritual ignorance to think that what God has for you through the ministry of 'Peter,' you can ignore him and get it directly from God. It doesn't work that way.
Charlatanism is a fact, but the word of God is older than it and will thrive forever.

Answer:
Speaking in Tongues was the initial evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spiri on the Day of Pentecost as recorded in Acts 2:1-4, also when Peter preached in the home of Cornelius, Acts 10:44-46, and when the Christians in Ephesus received the Holy Spirit (Acts 19:1-7). Please read these scriptural verses.
If you ask my take, I would prefer that every believer should desire the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. It isn't that it is the only sign that someone has received the Holy Spirit but because of its importance in the prayer life of a Christian. Read Romans 8:26 and 1 Corinthians 14:2.
Every gift of the Spirit can be idolised and abused; today, we have "pentecostal people" who speak in tongues, but you can't see the evidence of the work of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Why? They have exalted the gift above the person of the Holy Spirit. So, He has withdrawn his presence and left them with an empty language, which at times is just another activity in futility.
I have met Evangelical and Baptist believers and ministers who don't speak in tongues but have more of the Spirit's fruits evident in them than Pentecostals who speak in tongues. So, someone can receive the Holy Spirit without speaking in tongues, but if they open up to the Holy Spirit to express Himself through them via the heavenly language, it will be helpful in their prayer life. Read the entire 1 Corinthains 13 & 14.
We need both the Gifts and Fruits of the Spirit to be balanced and effective in our ministry to the body of Christ and the world. However, if I were to choose, I would prefer someone with the fruits of the Spirit than someone with the gifts of the Spirit without the fruits.
The Pentecostal movement is in the mess we see today because of the emphasis on the gifts of the Spirit over the fruits. Galatians 5:22-23.

If the above question is put forth in a gathering of gospel ministers, a majority will tell you that it is finance, but that is 'A Challenge'' not "The Challenge."
If you give someone millions who don't have the proper foundation for ministry, they will build buildings and acquire multiple material assets, but they won't have what it takes to build God's people; talk less of taking their streets for Christ.
The present challenge of ministry in Africa from a revelatory perspective is that most individuals in ministry have adopted ministry patterns borrowed from individuals considered externally successful in ministry, but like the Laodicean church, these individuals and their denominations are wretched and miserable, poor, blind, and naked. Revelation 3:14-19.
In addition, some of these patterns borrowed by most individuals are from men and women who have joined occultic circles to make it BIG IN THEIR DEFINITION OF MINISTRY.
You may be asking what makes the above THE CHALLENGE OF MINISTRY IN AFRICA?
1) These patterns are the curses holding back most African cities and nations today from true spiritual transformation. You can only see this if God opens your eyes. You may be surprised if I say that not up to 10 churches are recognised by God in most of our nations' cities.
Why? The people leading them are "pseudo ministers" operating on their own, doing their thing as it seems good to them. They go wherever the wind blows and don't care if what they are doing conforms to God's pattern as long as it gives them the vanities and fame they are searching for.
Unless these patterns are abandoned for proper biblical patterns of ministry, this generation will wander in the wilderness like the Jews, and their carcases will fall, but they will not enter the "promised land" ordained for their time.
2) It is the challenge because it doesn't matter what God is saying; they aren't listening as long as it doesn't conform to what they have borrowed. If Jesus tarries 100 years from now, and things continue this way, when those in the future look back to this time, they will weep unconsolable.
If these patterns are not dropped, go and wake all the God's generals from their graves to come and hold revival programs, it will only last while they are still around; when they leave, it will go with them. The thorns will chock it.
We see these things, but we can't do much; why? They have made up their minds to keep alive these idols.
THINKING OUT LOUD!
VISIONARY
In my interaction within the church world with gospel ministers in Africa and globally, I've met several types of ministers. Let me share briefly about the first four on my list.
1) Those who called themselves Into the Ministry
I Kings 1: 5: Then Adonijah, the son of Haggith, exalted himself, saying, I will be king: and he prepared him chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him.
Those in this group are merely ambitious to be called gospel ministers with titles of (Apostle, Prophet, Prophetess, Evangelist, Bishop, Pastor, etc. because they see the ministry as an easy path to making a living, acquiring wealth and gaining recognition.
To those in this group, it doesn't matter how many guest speakers they invite to their self-style churches; it doesn't improve the quality of their kingdom work since a tree must first be a tree to bear fruits.
If you are in this group, there is hope for you. Be truthful to yourself; seek the Lord and find his plan for your life and follow it. In addition, submit under a word-based Apostolic-Prophetic and Teaching ministry where you can be told the raw, undiluted truth about the kingdom life and ministry.
Ephesians 4: 11: 14
2) The second group are those having a genuine call upon their lives but lack someone to guide them.
As a result, they go with the wind. Whatever other purported ministers do that produces results, whether, from God or the occult, they will copy it, hoping for the same results. Those in this category are like sheep without a shepherd; they keep travelling and attending programs here and there; some have multiple individuals they call mentors, all in their effort to find a sense of fulfilment and success in ministry but to no avail.
If care is not taken, they can easily join the ranks of Magicians on the pulpit out of desperation to remove the reproach of their barrenness in ministry, but that isn't the solution.
The solution is to wrestle with God like Jacob (Genesis 32:22-28) and Jabez (I Chronicles 4:10) and learn under sound fivefold ministers whom heaven has prepared, equipped and sent.
3) The third category comprises those who aren't looking for God but a career through the ministry. When serving under any leader, they always seek promotion within the ranks to secure a good life. They are in love with bureaucracy, and like the Pharisees, their passion for the institution of the "church" is more than for God's kingdom. Why? It is where they work (Career).
4) Those called, prepared, equipped and sent by God. Those in this group are few. It is easy to accomplish much for the Lord with those in this last group because they have a solid foundation and understand how the kingdom works.
What hope has someone in the first, second and third groups? Can something be done to get them on track? Yes, but they must accept mentorship under leaders who will tell them the truth as it is not sugarcoated gospel.
Glatians 4: 1-2Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
